Pateh is traditional Iranian needlework folk art. The technique goes back to 18th century and originated from Kerman, Iran. Pateh is done in silk and most of the patterns are pre-Islamic Persian symbols. Tree of Life is one of the most famous patterns of Pateh in the world.
